Ravi Kumar Boddu is a highly skilled and passionate Principal Program Manager with over 16 years of experience in Information Technology. He is a certified SAFe Agilist and PMP with expertise in Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Ravi is currently working with one of the Human Capital Management leaders in the market as a Principal Program Manager. Ravi is a part of the core agile transformation team and has been instrumental in guiding teams located in different geographical locations. He has a proven track record in facilitating, coordinating, and collaborating with the team of agile teams to deliver valuable product increments in a cadence. As a Release Train Engineer (SAFe-RTE), he has managed the software product development teams of 50+ people in Product development. Ravi has extensive experience in JIRA administration and project management. He manages the JIRA server instance and provisions new projects, creates required JIRA boards, and manages the release/iteration cadence. He is also responsible for 3rd Party licenses procurement and management, monitoring the product updates, and OpenSource components management by tracking the license distribution, vulnerabilities, multi-version libraries, etc. with WhiteSource. Ravi has led multiple QA teams as a QA Manager for various product versions and Sustenance Engineering. He has experience in testing and delivering quality software, enterprise products, and applications to meet business and customer needs. Ravi's specialties include conducting PI Planning Sessions for ARTs, guiding teams on Agile methodologies and Scaled Agile Framework, facilitating all the Scrum events, estimation and planning, tracking and monitoring, coordination and risk management, and QA strategy, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, closing, and maintenance. Ravi has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Sri Venkateswara University and an MBA in Information Technology from MAHE. He has worked with Sumtotal in the past as a Project Lead-QA and Sr. Software Design Engineer (QA)-I & II.
